• Sala Mariscal: Like the legendary CBGB’s in Manhattan, Mariscal is a venue with country roots where all types of music can be heard: jazz, rock, pop, punk, blues… Hundreds of national and international bands and soloists have performed on its welcoming stage over these 37 years, well-prepared for spontaneous musicians to jump on and play at any moment.
• Llorenç Massaguer: Leading Mariscal since the first day, Llorenç is also a lover of classic motorcycles, in the style of Easy Rider.
• Historical Significance: Mariscal is one of the oldest concert halls in Catalonia, with 45 years of history. The historic venue in L’Estartit opened its doors on June 5, 1979. The owner, its true rock’n’roll heart, as Lou Reed would say, is Llorenç Massaguer (L’Estartit, 1960). More than 7000 concerts have taken place, and the number keeps growing.
